Wigram trophy comes home

Patty McLaren-Brickett, Bruce McLaren's widow, returned the Lady Wigram Trophy won by Bruce in 1963 to the Motor Racing Club at a ceremony at the Chris Amon Club at Ruapuna. She handed it to Jack Brewer, a founder of the Lady Wigram Trophy race and former club president. After McLaren's death in 1970 it was awarded only twice, to Kenny Smith in 1976 and Keke Rosberg in 1977, then went missing; it reappeared early in 2004 and passed to the Bruce McLaren Trust before being returned to the club for display.
