Leonard powers to great win

John Fridd reports that Leo Leonard showed the full potential of the new P.D.L. Mustang at Wigram, spinning out on the first corner of the Shellsport race but coming through the whole field to win, then also winning the Australia v New Zealand challenge and the Union Fast Freight race for the fastest saloons. He broke Allan Moffat's 1976 saloon lap record of 1:17.6 with a 1:17.2.
