Paul Radisich, 26-year-old Aucklander with experience on three continents, is unconcerned about racing on the unfamiliar Ruapuna track for the Lady Wigram Trophy. He is driving a Reynard prototype Pacific car with factory support, hoping it leads to a Formula 3000 drive. He starts the weekend third, 29 points behind Ken Smith and nine behind Craig Baird.
