The firm is host to a trio of top Southeast Asian riders during the holiday series of two-wheel events in New Zealand. Long-time sponsors of Kiwi international John Woodley, Norjo directors Alan Norfolk and Craig Jones were quick to help when the expatriate star mentioned the possibility of bringing his Guan Hoe Suzuki team-mates to this country. The move breaks brand lines - Norjos are involved with Kawasaki and Yamaha whereas Guan Hoe is a worldrenowed Suzuki concern. "But we're very happy to help these boys out, get them a ride and somewhere to stay in New Zealand. says Mr Norfolk. "It's great te let New Zealand erowds see how they ride and it's all for the good of the sport. Norjes have been rewarded with number of fine rides from Singapore's Gerry Loo and Malaysians Foremas Ob and Chao Kit Choong, culminating in Looi's 500ce class victory at Raapuna Park last weekend. Looi and Oh ride Mark V RG500 race bikes, Choong an X7 250 roadster. Two mechanies are travelling with the team, which has been travelling is a specially converted bus used by Norjos own race team. Mr Jones's sen Brent rode against these racers during a recent visit to Kuala Lumpur, where he rode a factory Yamaha TZ125 to victory in the 125 Grand Prix and third in a 250 event. Like Woodley, Brent Jones is sidelined at present. He broke a collarbone in a fall at Timaru this month. 24-1-81 NASHUA NASHUA 24-1-81 LADY WIGRAM SPE CIAL!
