Fast airfield track will suit P.D.L. Mustang
John Fridd previews the Shellsport and Australia v New Zealand saloon races at Wigram, where the new P.D.L. Mustang of Leo Leonard debuts in the big-saloon challenge series. Jim Richards' tired Mustang was blowing oil at Teretonga, and New Zealanders had virtually won the trans-Tasman challenge. Smaller-class battles include Steve Emson v Trevor Crowe in Datsun coupes, and Bill Leckie returning after a Manfeild crash.
