previewHandicap problem for Waimairi road event
The 10min 1sec gap between Les Moore and tenth finisher Jack Tutton at Wigram will guide handicappers for the Canterbury Car Club's NZ 100-mile road race championship on the Waimairi circuit on 22 March 1952. Likely back-markers are Smith, Green, Moore, McLean and Gibbons, whose small cars should pass well on the narrow twisting circuit. Tutton's Jaguar drove the whole Wigram race in third gear at about 70 mph.
